One
of the first laser based high-resolution film recorders was the result
of our innovative AO scanning method design. It was manufactured by Isomet
for an OEM in the early 1980's. Since then ISOMET has expanded overall
capability and is a well-known source of practical solutions and ideas
in graphic arts and laser-based systems.

Arts: Input ScannersThe input scanner is the first and most vital step in color reproduction. The 405HR shown at left was designed to be low in cost yet maintain the high output quality associated with Isomet scanners. Each scanner will digitize all camera originals, positive or negative, at continuously variable resolutions up to film grain capabilities. The easy to operate software simplifies operation, allowing complete control of tone, gray balance and color correction to create high quality RGB or CMYK data.
